Lancashire Ghost Hunt Weekend

Haunted Evenings are planning 2 nights of fright at two of Lancashire’s most Haunted Hotspots!. On night one (Friday) you will start your weekend ghost hunting at  the BRAND NEW LOCATION – PARK HOTEL MORECAMBE. Be one of the very first to ever investigate this now disused Victorian hotel with its 4 vast floors of abandoned rooms, including cellars and roof top Observatory. You will have the chance to tour this magnificent untouched hotel, before being split down into small groups to conduct vigils in all areas of the building.
On night Two of our Ghost Hunt Weekend Lancaster, the team will give you another warm welcome at the gates to LANCASTER CASTLE where you will have the chance to investigate some pretty intense prison blocks as well as the old dungeon where it’s believed the Pendle Witches were incarcerated. Please note that on our Lancaster Castle Ghost Hunting event, no Ouija boards are allowed by request of the location management…but don’t worry! The team have an abundance of equipment for you all to use on the location. This is one fascinating location in Lancaster and a privilege to have overnight access. Up for the challenge of a whole weekend?!

Night 1 will see you spend your haunted evening investigating a completely disused Victorian Hotel! This iconic Morecambe Victorian Hotel now sits abandoned having closed its doors some years ago. What remains are 4 floors with extensive untouched rooms to investigate, many with hotel furnishings still present, others stripped back to bare bones and uninhabitable. From several cellar rooms, including old servants kitchen, servants quarters, guest bedrooms, library, ballroom, hidden stairways and isolated corridors, to the Observatory at the very top of the building, you will soon find yourself in scarily small numbers and very disorientated! There is also the option to sleepover at The Park Hotel after the event. Please see information below

Night 2 of your Haunted Evenings weekend will be at the once brutal Lancaster Castle. Lancaster Castle has strong historical ties to the Pendle Witches and “boasts” over 200 executions in its time as a serving prison. Ghost Hunting at Lancaster Castle will likely leave you quaking in your boots but rest assured you’ll be left wanting more!. This location is rarely investigated and with such a long  history of housing criminals and the long suffering of so many wrongly accused, it’s no wonder that Lancaster Castle is a place on most ghost hunters bucket lists! You’ll be one of just a few ghost hunters for the evening, exploring and investigating the Witches Dungeon, Hanging Yard, Prison Wings and domestic areas. You will have the chance to use all the latest ghost hunting gadgets, take part in modern and more traditional ghost hunting vigils and really get a feel for what it is like to go ghost hunting at one of the UK’s premium haunted locations!. Click on this link for more specific information on the Lancaster Castle Ghost Hunt.

*Optional Sleepover*
Guests can opt to spend the night at the abandoned Park Hotel on the Friday night by selecting one of the rooms from the dropdown payment bar. It is important to note that whilst rooms are comfortable with clean bedding, this is a non-functioning hotel and therefore some rooms may need some TLC! (It’s all part of the charm!). Room availability is limited. A basic help yourself style breakfast will be supplied by Haunted Evenings in the morning, to include Tea/Coffee, Toast and Croissants. Rooms available to ghost hunt attendees only.
