Ghost Hunts New Season!
New haunted places, as well as old favourites, feature in our upcoming Autumn / Winter 2018 calendar. What better way to cool down over the summer months than to dive into planning a trip to a chilling location with haunted evenings!
September Ghost Hunts What’s on?
Grand Pavillion | The Lock Up | Gresley Old Hall | Stoke Rochford Hall | Leeds Townhall
We kick start the Autumn run with 2 NEW venues to the Haunted Evenings portfolio – the Grand Pavillion in Matlock Bath and Leeds Town Hall.
The Grand Pavillion is an old Edwardian building and is said to be haunted by several unknown spirits including children who have been heard running around by visitors. A more sinister presence is also supposed to haunt the building and we cannot wait to investigate this long awaited historic site.
Up in Leeds we’re pretty excited to be told it’s been 6-9 months since the magnificent townhall was last investigated. Quite a surprise as this location is packed full of para-punch, with it’s warren of hidden cells and disused court room, it’s certainly got the vibe going on and we’re hoping that as it’s so rarely investigated, activity will be shaken about abit when we head up there on the 29th!
In September we also revisit our exclusive location Stoke Rochford Hall which again has hidden areas never seen by the general public. We also make a return trip to Gresley Old Hall (nr Swadlincote) and “The Lock Up” – the new paranormal kid on the block!. Places are insanely limited already for ALL our September events so if you fancy joining us reserve a place pronto before they’re all gone!. Check out what’s on in September..
October Ghost Hunts What’s on?
Warwick Castle | Margam Castle | The Village, Mansfield | Dudley Castle | The Lock Up | Lancaster Castle | Thackray Museum | Halloween Drakelow Tunnels | Halloween Gresley Old Hall
Tis’ the season to be scared! Of course with Halloween featuring in October, Haunted Evenings pump up the energy by cramming the month full of treats… and some tricks! We’ll be entering into the spirit by running our usual Halloween competition (which usually results in some pretty awesome and damn right scary guest mug shots!). They’ll be 2 x £50 gift vouchers up for grabs again during our Halloween events, as well as extra treats this year, including merchandise giveaways! Of course we won’t reveal how you can win these Halloween treats, you’ll have to book on to find out! You’ll be pleased to know that we’ve only just released spaces for the Halloween special events so availability is high! Check out what’s on in October…
November Ghost Hunts What’s on?
Leicester Guildhall | The Lock Up | Niddry Street Vaults Edinburgh | Mary King’s Close Edinburgh | Smethwick Baths | Galleries Of Justice | Ancient Ram Inn | Gresley Old Hall
Since 2015 we’ve been heading up an Edinburgh weekend each November and this years upcoming Niddry Street Vaults/Mary Kings Close weekender sold out by last December! Worry not, we may still be able to release spaces closer to the date and we have more dates on the horizon in 2019 for this amazing weekend! It’s certainly one not to miss so keep ya eyes peeled!
We also return to the former Galleries of Justice in Nottingham. Naughty us! We should be sent down to the cells for the fact our last visit was 2016! (So many places so little time). Places are limited for this Nottingham event so again, don’t leave it til too late as this is almost a sell out and we won’t be returning again for awhile!
Further venues to shout about in November are Smethwick Baths, with it’s not so obvious links to World War II, The Ancient Ram Inn (a bucket list location for most people) and a sold out return visit to our hometown of Leicester to investigate the Guildhall. Check out what’s on in November…..
December Ghost Hunts What’s on?
Drakelow Tunnles | Shrewsbury Prison | Brighton
We start December with a Haunted Explore down at Drakelow Tunnels, a place really like no other and one we see people returning to time and time again. Such a vast location with its pitch black disorientating Tunnels, we challenge anyone to go it alone here (most don’t – we know why!)…
Shrewsbury Prison is another highlight for the team in December. With its imminent closure due to development we may well be one of the last to ever investigate this huge decommissioned prison. We’ve been investigating this place since 2017 and will be sorry to see it go! Let’s give it a good send off on the 8th.
Brighton maybe a trek for the team but we don’t mind as the end result is a night banged up in the hidden cells beneath the townhall. We’ll be back here for the last time in 2018 and with just 2 places left, we know we’re in for a good un! If you can’t make Decembers date, we’re happy to announce our next date is up for 2019
What else is new?
Our Autumn season will bring a new twist to an old classic – The Ouija Board Vigil! Guests up for the challenge will be guinea pigs in a brand new type of experiment never been done before. We can’t wait to test it out!! We’ll also be upping the stakes on another traditional experiment in the hope to validate the existence of the unknown! Exciting times people, exciting times!!
Summer Ghost Hunts!
The summer maybe upon us but we’re still out investigating throughout the summer months and more importantly planning next years line up. Pop back later on in the year to find out what’s in store for 2019!
