BLACK MONK OF PONTEFRACT
Likely this place doesn’t need any formal introductions as it’s “up there” on the Most Haunted list of places in the UK. Known to be the home to one of the “most violent poltergeists the world has ever seen”, the Yorkshire family who lived in this council house in the 1970’s (30 East Drive, Pontefract), claimed to have experienced so much paranormal activity here from a malevolent spirit that this inspired the film “When the Lights Went Out”, a film that is based upon the accounts that happened at this exact property. 2021 DATES PLANNED.
