With daily news being monitored regarding the Coronavirus, we have put together this notice which we hope will cover any immediate concerns or queries you may have regarding upcoming events.
Events – 2021
REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY EVENTS CANCELLED DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS.
Haunted Evenings plan to resume events as soon as permitted (subject to any further Government announcements). Understandably events could still be cancelled at short notice due to the daily changes surrounding the uncertainty of any further COVID-19 outbreak or capacity restrictions. In addition to Government guidelines, we also need to liaise with individual venues prior to announcing any decisions to reschedule/ cancel any upcoming events due to some locations experiencing potential regional restrictions. We will however endeavour to provide as much notice as possible.
We will contact customers directly via email should we need to notify you of a cancelled event. Any customers affected by an event that needs to be postponed due to the COVID-19 situation will be offered a rescheduled date or full refund. Please do not contact us if your event is more than 7 days away. This is to ensure we can manage the situation week by week.
If one of our events is due to take place but you find you are unable to attend due to COVID related issues such as a local lockdown/Positive Covid test result/ track & trace isolation, we will try and re-sell your spaces as goodwill and should they be reallocated, we will be happy to provide you with a transfer / credit note. If we are unable to resell your places, our usual T&C’s regarding refunds will have to apply as we will have already incurred costs for running the event.
Current Lockdown (2021)
All events scheduled from January – June 2021 have subsequently been cancelled and all guests refunded. Events for September onwards will be released closer to the time once we have a clearer idea of the situation. Once again, should we need to cancel an event, all customers will be notified and refunded automatically. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
COVID-19 / Social Distancing
In order to ensure your safety and those of the team during the event, social distancing measures will be in place from the moment you arrive and throughout the event. Guests on arrival will be asked to wear a face mask in line with Government guidelines and you agree to allow us to use your booking details to provide a “track & trace” system should we need to contact you after the event. Hand sanitising stations will be dotted around the location which we kindly ask all guests to use regularly throughout the event. Where we are unable to provide sufficient space to provide complimentary tea’s & coffee’s at a location, we reserve the right to withdraw the facility to ensure social distancing is prioritised. In this instance guests will be advised to bring their own refreshments. Further instructions on social distancing measures can be found here.
